  I decided to make my sculpture to look like his brains all jumbled. I made a pencil look coming out of his head and that his head is in the clouds because its as if his head is in the clouds and doesn't know what do to and he's all confused. 

  I decided to do this sculpture because I wanted to make something imperfect and unique instead of making a perfect face. I also wanted to make something that resembled Halloween in a way. 

 Steve Tootell is a creative editor and is also a very expiernced potter. He was born in 1953 in London and studied his education at Chester college where he earned a degree in ceramics. He then went to Japan in 1984 to teach at the international sacred heart. 

      I decided to create a sculpture that represents Breast Cancer awareness month, as it is Breast Cancer  awareness month. For the eyes I decided to create breasts and incorporate the cancer ribbon as a nose. It was something funky and fun to create. I enjoyed being able to use the color bright pink in this this sculpture. 

Due to the elections coming up soon, I decided to do Abraham Lincoln as my sculpture because of his many accomplishments as president. I thought that this was a really fun piece to do, I have never done a sculpture nor used sculpey before. It was super easy to work with and fun. 

    Steve Tootell is a very influential artist in the 21st century. The ceramist had the opportunity to move to Tokyo japan where he teaches art. He is very passionate about his work and loves to share his knowledge with others. He was born in England and trained there to be a potter. He now is the head of the Sacred Heart Arts and Ceramics center.
