Lucy Lewis was a very skilled ceramic artist who used very interesting detail on all her different pieces of ceramics. She is known for her black-on-white decorative ceramics made using traditional techniques.
Lewis's pottery is made from a gray clay body and formed by hand using coils. I chose this piece of pottery because i found the designs very interesting and the colors she used was very different than what she normally works with. I thought it was a very unique piece of art.
