Steve Tootell - Jillian Smith

 

Steve Tootell is a creative educator that works with many different forms of art work such as ceramics, painting and music.He provides many workshops for students to help them with their skill. Tootell went to Japan and became a pottery teacher at the international school of the sacred heart, he then became the head of creative and performing arts at this school. After looking through his pottery, I was very impressed with how different each of his pieces were with the design on them. I chose this piece of pottery because i thought the style of it was very interesting because i cant tell if it is a texture within the pot that is making this design or is it simply just paint.
